Little ElvisAnn played dress up with me. She is the perfect age- 7 months- just sitting up and not trying to crawl yet. What a cute little cupcake baby! I have been creating a collection of cute dresses and props for photos in the recent months. All of these items are available for your little ones to model for portraits!

This is my adorable niece, ElvisAnn. Yes, that's her name- she is an 'Orange County Baby' with a rock star momma and a surfer daddy. She is destined for greatness! Isn't she the cutest ever? I'm not biased or anything- but we are so in love with her. When she came to visit, it was a non-stop photo shoot! She modeled all of my cute new baby dresses and props for portraits. There will be many more photos to come on my blog. This is just the beginning- without the fancy outfits. Just a plain onsie- you don't need much to show the beauty a new baby.

We took engagement photos of Mary Catherine and Phil at the very spot that they got engaged this past December! Right next to the Oceanic on Wrightsville Beach. Very romantic! We had to deal with major wind on the day we took these photos. Mary Catherine and Phil braved the wind and managed to look perfectly wind blown for their photos! This may be only the beginning of the wind for them- they are getting married on Bald Head Island this fall. We'll keep our fingers crossed for a calm day!  

Two words to describe Katie- perky and fun!  Albie- easy going, genuinely nice and totally head over heals for Katie! You can tell by the way he looks at her in these photos! We had lots of fun taking their photos on the NC State campus. They both went to school there and Katie works as a recruiter for the football team- so NC State holds a lot of meaning for them as a couple. They also brought along their cute dog Finley for a 'whole family' portrait. Isn't he cute- I couldn't resist taking a few individual portraits just of him!

I had my second portrait sitting with baby Kai this month. He is 3 months old now! What a cutie! We are taking photos of Kai every couple of months throughout his first year. Look for his 1 month portraits previously listed on this blog. He is starting to smile and respond to his parents with little baby giggles. His favorite toy is his puppy blankie. He likes to hug it and chew on the doggie's nose! He loved laying in the sheepskin that I brought for him, and I love how cozy he looks on it with the natural window light. He was a little sleepy on this morning- so he wanted his binkie and his Mama. It wasn't long before he was fast asleep!

Bella Rose Photography was just voted best photography in the 2008 Readers Choice Awards for the Bride's Book Magazine. Wow! What an honor! Thank you! A big thanks to everyone that voted for me! 

We took photos of our super fun couple, Jennifer and Scott, in downtown Wilmington. Jennifer's request was for lots of cool backgrounds and downtown has lots of great places for interesting photos. We had lots of fun- and I think Jen found her inner supermodel! Way to rock the photos girl!

Laura and Jeremy celebrated their 1st Wedding Anniversary by taking photos on Carolina Beach. They spent the weekend at Jeremy's family beach house. This beach house is actually the place where they first met! Laura came over to the house with some friends and met Jeremy. The first night that they met, they spent hours talking out on this deck with the beach as their backdrop. We had a lot of fun taking photos. Happy first anniversary Laura and Jeremy!
