I took these photos of the Baxter family at their home and at a nearby lake in Apex. It is so much fun to take photos of such adorable little girls! Aren't they cute!

We had a lot of fun taking engagement photos of Nina and Will. They had some really fun ideas for their photos. Will is a drummer and it was fun to add some musical references to their photos. They were very cute together, very in love and very relaxed in front of the camera. A photographers dream!

Jennifer and Chris got married on the dock near Jennifer's parents home in Holden Beach. I love the way they decorated the long pathway to the ceremony site with lots of flowers! The reception was held close by under a tent while guests enjoyed the music of a steel drum band. 

Take a look at the beautiful wedding of Jennifer and JT. They got married in Clayton and then had their reception at the Wakefield Plantation Country Club. One of my favorite images of the day was the aerial photo that Laura took from the balcony of Jennifer and JT  walking back down the aisle as a newly married couple. The church did not allow flash and I love the slight blur of the people clapping in the aisles. It was a perfect day and we were so happy to be a part of the celebration! 

Super adorable couple, Sara Jane and Heath, asked me to take their engagement photos on Wrightsville Beach. They live in Raleigh and are going home to Missouri to get married, so I had the privilege of taking their engagement photos for them! It was a really unusual day at the beach- there was absolutely no wind. We usually have the opposite problem! The down side to no wind is the bugs bite you! They did a great job being natural and cute together in front of the camera- despite the bitting bugs!

   

Take a look at these beautiful photos of beautiful Mikaela! This is the second time I have shot photos for her modeling portfolio. We took them 2 years ago when she was 7- now she is 9 years old. She did an amazing job- what an excellent little model! She wants to model and be in movies!

On the very rare occasion that my entire family is together, it is a must that we have a family portrait. The last time we were all together was 2 1/2 years ago at my brother's wedding. As you can see by all of the baby photos, we basically took photos the entire time they were here! Too many kodak moments- and I couldn't miss one! My assistant Jill agreed to take our photos at Wrightsville Beach. What a perfect evening for photos. I love the beautiful sky and light on the ocean!

We also went to Kure Beach with the family. Baby ElvisAnn looked so cute in her little sun hat! It was cool taking these photos of everyone playing on the beach. The sky was an amazing blue color. My favorites are of my brother holding and playing with ElvisAnn. It was such a great experience watching my brother be a new dad. He just adores ElivsAnn!

 

We took the whole family to the Aquarium for the day. I had fun taking photos of my cute niece and nephew and the cute fish. I could take pretty clear photos of the fish without a flash of the tanks that were brightly lit up. My favorites are the 'Nemo' fish!

My little nephew Ian had to get in on the fun too! He showed off his 'Happy Feet' dancing penguin toy in these photos. He's two and a half. We have so much fun with him!
